Florastor is produced at a single manufacturing plant located in France. This is the only plant that produces S. boulardii CNCM I-745, and it’s only produced for Florastor. The raw materials used to grow and ferment the probiotic cells undergo strict quality control assessments which conform to Good Manufacturing Practices (NSF Certified GMP) to ensure high-quality, consistency and efficacy of the final product. The probiotic cells in Florastor are freeze-dried to ensure stability and to retain efficacy; this is in contrast to other probiotics which are heat-dried.
